Southlake saw many exciting openings in the city last year. As we leave 2022 behind and look forward to 2023, residents will no doubt be grateful that they have the following businesses to return to for the new year.
After Harkins Theatre closed in 2021, EVO Entertainment was quick to fill the void that was left behind when it opened earlier this spring. Complete with its own luxury theaters, arcade games, bowling lanes and a full-service bar, it’s safe to say that EVO Entertainment is a venue that the whole family can enjoy.
Elevating its cuisine beyond Tex-Mex, Mesero is a Mexican restaurant that took the place of Howard Wang’s when it closed back in 2021. With a wide selection of queso, tacos, enchiladas and brunch items, every bite at Mesero is packed with flavor.
Taking over the former space of Herencia Texican Cuisine, Cork & Pig brought an exceptional wine and dine experience to Southlake. Led by head chef Virginia Dalbeck, Cork & Pig sports several exciting entrees such as Carolina pork ribs, wood-fired pizza and double-cut pork chops.
Opening in September, Meison Studio is a luxury fashion experience that helps women with their fashion sense around their busy schedules. Carrying five brands in-house, Meison customizes their clothing for their clients through an exclusive appointment-only schedule tailored specifically to them.
Coming to town square last fall, Nikko is a sushi restaurant that elevates the cuisine with different rolls, nigiri, sashimi and deep-fried delights. With the restaurant’s open concept and upscale presentation, everything in Nikko is an homage to its saying “omakase,” which translates to “I’ll leave it up to you.”
