Here's how Bills ended up altering post-Bears Christmas travel plans – Bills Wire

Thank goodness for Rochester.
Or at least their airport.
On Saturday, Christmas Eve, the Buffalo Bills (12-3) got an early gift: The AFC East title in 2022.
The Bills defeated the Chicago Bears (3-12). The celebrations of the 35-13 win didn’t last long… or perhaps they rolled through the night.
That’s because the team had to change their travel plans since the Buffalo airport ended up being closed until Monday at 11 a.m. due to weather. The Bills were stranded in Chicago until at least Sunday.
While the Buffalo airport was locked up, head coach Sean McDermott revealed that Rochester became the team’s new destination.
“Everyone’s health and safety is of the utmost importance,” McDermott said via video conference. “I mean, yes, it’s a shame we can’t get home, but there are a lot of people who have got it a lot worse than we do out there, including some people back home right now.”
In an effort to get home for the holidays, the Bills moved their travel plans. Their new flight became Chicago to Rochester and then a drive home… pending travel bans on driving being lifted as well.
