For those still searching for a list minute Christmas gift for their ice fishing friends, Pilgrim Village in Cadillac has some ideas.
The resort and fishing shop says that between Christmas and New Years, they see the most amount of anglers seeking out the sport and shopping for their friends.
For those new to ice fishing or looking for a good gift, the fishing shop knows what’s been particularly popular this year.
“This time of year, we saw a lot of orders, a lot of tents, a lot of bigger items like people that know what they want for Christmas. And we saw a lot of gift cards to a lot of people. They don’t know what to get their loved one so that’s an easy way out too,” Christopher Knaisel the owner of Pilgrim Village Resort said.
They also say steelhead rods are hot items that would make a great gift.
