The Lifestyle & Nutrition Course, offered by Thrive Umpqua, will start Thursday, Jan. 5.
This course will be held virtually and in person at the new Aviva Health classroom and teaching kitchen next to Costco or the new satellite location in Elkton.
This is a 13 week, evidence-based, disease prevention and reversal series. The course shares simple, safe, affordable and practical methods that result in health restoration.
New topics are covered each week, addressing the leading causes of death in Douglas County and the US. Participants health improvements are verifiable through pre- and post-blood draws and a self-attestation survey.
According to the press release, all materials for the class are provided, but the book “How Not to Die” by Dr. Michael Gregor, is suggested to supplement the course material. Local participants that are on Oregon Health Plan will receive a free copy.
