It has been many years since the people of Lobatse last got together and had a good time after the event was halted for three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Last held in 2019, The Last Saturday was designed to be an avenue to expose local talent.
Legodile Wetshootsile aka DJ Lex B said they have tried to put together a line-up that will ensure patrons get their money's worth. He explained that they have also given the artists from Lobatse first priority. According to Lex B, the event is headlined by one of South Africa's most versatile musician, Eno Soul, who doubles as a Deejay and producer. Eno Soul has projects like In2Deep Vo.l 1, which has done exceptionally well and later on extended to In2Deep Vol 3.
Other artists on the line-up include Dallas, Makheno, Big Souls, DJ Sly, Benny T, DJ Khenzo, MC Phlyhoney and many more local artists. Lex B stated that their long-term goal is to grow the concept to become a melting pot of Lobatse arts, culture and tourism. Furthermore, he said they aspire to become a regional and continental event. Lex B said they have gone all out to give revellers the best entertainment on the day with better sound, bigger stage and lights.
